​Thank you for your interest in our ecologically minded apartments.  We are a small family owned company dedicated to providing sustainable and less toxic housing for environmentally conscious individuals. 

Due to our embracing of green housing ethics, we ask that individuals residing in our apartments refrain from the use of the following chemical substances inside the home:  perfumes, colognes, body sprays, air fresheners, Glade plug-ins, candles, cigarettes and burnables, pesticides, scented detergents, scented fabric softeners and dryer sheets.

We encourage the use of alternative products such as naturally derived soaps, pure essential oils, fragrance-free detergents, fragrance and scent free fabric softeners, natural pesticides, plant based body and cleaning products. 

We understand that people have certain products that work best for their hair and skin, and with that consideration and to make things easier it's okay for tenants to use regular mainstream scented shampoo and conditioner, soap, hair products and deodorant, or what some might consider to be the essential basics. We strive to provide a more natural, less toxic living experience and home for our lovely tenants.

• Utilities at all houses average approximately $40-$85 per month per person for the electric and gas bill which covers heating, hot water, cooking gas, and lights. For a few winter months it can be very cold and $100 per person depending on how high the heat is set at. Wi-Fi is setup by tenants when they contact the Wi-Fi supplier. Utility services by National Grid are placed in one tenant’s name, usually, but can be shared and placed on the bill between all roommates for greater equity.​

  • This comfortable, colonial style apartment features a full size yet cozy living room with a large bay window, open foyer, front closet for storage, large dining room with a built in bench for the bay window which overlooks our sunny community garden and permaculture orchard, a cute pantry with lots of nice old cabinets and a white tile countertop, a farmhouse style kitchen, full size bathroom and three 9 foot by 12 foot bedrooms that each have a closet. There's off street parking, free basement laundry, energy star appliances, a large sunny front porch, and a side yard that encompasses our zone 5 hardy permaculture fruit orchard and natural, wild looking community garden. This house is in an incredible location, it's close walking distance to Syracuse University, SUNY ESF, and University Hospital, and it's half a block from the vibrant, artsy Westcott business district with some of Syracuse's best restaurants and cafes. Despite being so close to the heart of Westcott, Judson is a quiet, quaint one block long street that deadends at Thornden Park. The street has a mix of students and families, and it is not in the loud party section of the University area.

Our company has also actively engaged in conflict resolution and mediation when roommates were having trouble communicating with each other.

We ask that you answer questions as accurately and HONESTLY as possible. 

Roommate matching topics include: cleaning of communal areas, noise making and quiet times, purchasing of communal products like dish soap and toilet paper, hobbies, interests, age, major, and of course the most important topic of all... dishwashing, dishwashing and more dishwashing.
