We are located in Syracuse, New York, and offer ecologically minded apartment rentals in the Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry housing district and the vibrant Westcott business area.
We have rooms and three bedroom apartments for rent. All apartments are available as one year long leases beginning in August, and we sometimes have an apartment or an individual room open up during the middle of the school year or the summer.

Syracuse Green Housing specializes in providing environmentally conscious housing. Some of our practices include:
- Providing cleaner Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)
- Housing for tenants with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS), fragrance allergies, and Environmental Illnesses. Apartments are smoke-free and low fragrance, there is no usage of perfume, cologne, aftershave, candles, air fresheners or other strong smelling synthetic fragrance products.
- Healthier paint: We paint our interiors with low VOC and no VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), less toxic paints in soothing earth tones, and exteriors are renovated with high quality waterbased low VOC paints.
- Edible and Natural Landscaping. All edible and natural landscaping landscaping is pesticide and herbicide free, and we purchase local, edible berry bushes, fruit trees, herbs and vegetables for our landscaping.
- An organic community garden and small orchard located at 109 Judson Street. The garden is open to non-tenants.
- Hardwood floors and woodwork refinished with waterbased, low-VOC polyurethane and zero VOC acrylic sealers
- Free off street parking
- Free basement laundry, fragrance free laundry facilities, tenants use unscented detergent free of fragrances and dyes, and no dryer sheets
- We donate portion to charities and not-for-profits.
- We are dedicated to supporting community groups, local business, organic farmers, naturalist carpenters, wholesome painters, and promoting cohesion amongst roommates.
